Manjushree also written Manjushri, is the Buddha  of Wisdom. A disciple of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni, he represents wisdom, intelligence and realization.

It is said that the flaming sword of Manjushri breaks the chains of ignorance to liberate all beings into enlightenment.

According to legends, Manjushree is the founder of Nepelese civilization and the patron Bodhisattva of China.

Chanting the Manjushree Mantra "Om Ah Ra Ba Tsa Na Dhih" is believed to enhance wisdom and improve one's skills in debating, memory, writing, explaining etc. "Dhih" is the seed syllable of the Manjushree and is chanted with greater emphasis.
